Who is in the ambulance on dance moms

She was carried to the chair and sat down. She had been given an ice pack! The doctors brought the hospital bed and Taylor was lying on it. The doctors went out of the competition. She was rushed into the ambulance quickly and was given a cast and crutches! It looks like we don't have a Synopsis for this title yet. Be the first to contribute! Trapped was on season 2: episode 11, Melissa Pleads the Fifth. The Fifth amendment to the US constitution.

Well, in sexual arrousment they tend to plead for more I mean you do have pleading the fifth but really who does that anymore Be yourself. A dance with dragons is the fifth book in George R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series. There are only four books in the series. There are only four books in the Au Pairs series. There are many fundamental steps in folk dance.

Some of these include the arms in lateral position, amplified fifth position, and the T position. Still innocent until proven guilty. Pleading the fifth means that you will say nothing at all in your defense or your admission of guilt. The burdon of proof lies on the prosecutor to prove your guilt. Pleading the fifth is usually used by a person that does not want to incriminate themselves or another. It does not mean that you are guilty or innocent, just that you don't feel your testamony would be in your best interest.

Well, there's one at the begging of the school year and one near valentines day. Some basic ballet dance positions are first, second, fourth, and fifth. Yes, third position does exist but it is rarely used. Here is a video that shows a lot about ballet. See attached link. During the late 's he sampled classical composer Ludwig Van Beethoven's "Fifth Symphony", which is how Walter Murphy arrived at his title of the song.

If you are asking on behalf of the state, you will then give the witness immunity for his testimony. If he continues to take the 5th, he goes to jail for contempt. If he tells you about his criminal behavior, you use it to take down all his associates, friends, and partners.

If he lies after immunity, he goes to jail for perjury. Lastly, it is not uncommon for dance team members to be under contract for a year, whereby they can't switch studios and perform with any other studio of dance teacher. Usually there is a steep financial penalty for breaking the contract. That could be why these moms don't pull their kids out of Abby's studio. But, personally, I still think that it is over dramatized for the sake of television.

They all irritate me. I admit that I'm a little obssesed with this show - largely because I watch it and then, as a parent and a teacher, feel completely reaffirmed afterwards by realizing that even though I had my bad days and made my mistakes, on my worst day, I wasn't even close to any of these nutcases.

Daughter did a little bit of dance as a kid just classes - not teams but she was on her HS dance team which did compete and had friends on it who had been on competitive dance teams for years. Our city was small- nothing like Pittsburgh, so that could make a difference, but from what I know - a Dance teams, like any other competitive activity, have a season when you could expect to be busy most weekends, but it isn't year-round.

Also, I'm sure they only film the weekends the girls have competition, so I don't know that they're actually gone every weekend. Perhaps that was related to the lack of large stage venues in our area. Many of our friends who had done years of studio dance had switched studios at least once and since that usually involved drama - a lot had done it rather suddenly and mid-stream so to speak. Maybe those are more typical in other places where the competition is stiffer, and I could see the point in that group dances are choreographed and blocked carefully, so having a girl leave suddenly like Brooke did can screw things up.

I don't get the sudden trip to Galveston either but I'm betting the show picked up the check for that. In twenty years of dance, fourteen of those competitive, I've never seen a competition on a gymnasium floor. The only time I have ever danced on a gym floor was for a few random school events that I performed at. My studio did not work this way, but I know there are some studios where you pay a flat albeit ridiculously expensive fee for the year, this could be what they are working with.

The contract thing is pretty normal for competitive studios. IIRC, it only affects those who actually compete. So that really isn't anything unique. A lot of it has to do with people trying to steal choreography. Hijack for a quick second I currently compete under an AnCom school. Then I assume that b and c had to do with our area at the time and it's location which was very small urban and not at all close to a large urban area.

I do know that her friends who were in studio, while they obviously preferred not to compete on gym floors - did it and all of the area HS dance teams did it for every competition of course I realize that HS dance teams are not the same thing as studio dance teams.

I understand the reason for the contract - it makes sense to me in that regard, but I would assume, as we discovered with similar coaching contracts, they are not very enforceable. Lawyer friend who was a parent at our gymnastics club where they commonly had coaches sign these contracts said that the court costs were such and the likehood of winning so small that they were pretty pointless in the long run. I have watched a couple of episodes and quite honestly the moms are certifiable!

IMHO they are just vicariously living through their daughter. They probably wanted to dance as children, but their parents didn't let them for whatever reason and they are pushing their daughters to live their dream. Ladies correct me if I'm wrong but I think Kelly might have been one of Abby's former dancers. I could've sworn I heard her say something along the lines of "I've been here for 30 years Kelly danced for Abby until she left to become a cheerleader Oh, I can guess!

The question is why has she stayed because she seems so much saner than the others. Not a Dance Mom follower as I have run into way too many dance, sports and my-kid-is-takingAP's-this-year moms in real life, :0 but Abby, some of the moms, and girls were on The View this morning. The girls also performed. It kind of seemed like the moms whined, Abby smacked them upside the heads, and the girls said that they don't want to leave the studio as they are a tight knit bunch of girls who are all best friends.

Well that's what I was thinking but it looked like Abby could've been agreeing with her on whatever was "wrong". I hope she doesn't leave. I really like Holly and Nia. I like Holly as well and I agree she seems like the only mom who approximates sane, but I am a little confused by her.

She's a school principal, and she seems like a pretty sweet, gentle soul. I can't imagine she'd put up with a teacher speaking to students the way Abby speaks to her girls, so I can't figure why she keeps Nia there. I guess I would think that as an educator, she of all people, would see the negative impact all of this coach, parents could have on a kid. She's been concerned about the appropriateness of several dance numbers for a child and for Nia in particular, but she still keeps her there.

Just don't get that part. Yay for Nia being on top of the pyramid. Kendall danced very well so she deserved the win. I don't get why Abby said Cathy is a horrible choreographer. Abby thinks too highly of herself but at the same time, Cathy needs to stop feeding the unnecessary drama. Last night was pretty good. I think the girls are all really sweet.

Too bad their mothers are the ones to make so much drama. You saw how sweet Nia and Kendall were to eachother before going on stage. I have to admit that Holly is my favorite mother and I think Nia is adorable but, I didn't get why she was so angry at Candy Apple. You knew Jill was gonna' go somewhere else where her daugther would be able to compete. I get it that Nia was finally on top but, how can you get mad at another dance studio for putting one of their dancers up against your daughter even if they were on the same team?

Even her mom said, "When I found out she was going up against Kendall, my heart sank. They are both talented. Just didn't get it! I admit I watch the show but something the screaming and yelling just really gets to me. I don't do well when people are yelling at each other and creating such a tense environment.

I just can't believe that the animosity is so strong among the mothers that it leaks out of the television. And I really can't stand Cathy. She treats Vivi Anne as a prop, and the child just doesn't even want to dance. And why do they slap that bright red lipstick on her?? All the girls seem overly made up, and I think it's because they are interviewed on the days they are competing, but poor VA looks ridiculous.

Edited to add that I hate that Abby, Cathy and several of the moms complain to the children about each other. Leave the kids out of your drama, at least out of earshot. Divorcing parents are told not to badmouth each other to the children, and it's something that the adults on this show need to learn, too. I went to the show's website and some woman was vehemently claiming that none of the shows are edited or staged. Some other poster said, "Duh!

If they aren't, then how come they showed Cathy answering the phone, getting the call about Kendall? I actually like Abby as a character. She's definitely over-the-top and can be obnoxious but she's incredibly entertaining to watch. I've been watching since Season 1 and I honestly don't think these girls are being abused. They're not scared of her, they actually handle it pretty well and mostly shrug off her eccentricities or laugh at it. And they're very talented, hard-working girls.

Their group is very close knit and you constantly see them running to hug each other, support each other and even wipe make-up off each other's faces. They're like a mini sorority! She's hilarious and responds so well to Abby's BS. I do hate when Abby yells a them for crying or acts insufferable for no reason, but at the same time, she shows the girls a good deal of love and support.

Most of it we don't see to boost the drama. I am so addicted to this show! Actually really liked this week where they showed a scene of Abby gossipping with Maddie, Chloe, and Mackenzie about Melissa's engagement. She seemed almost human. I also wasn't sure if she was suffering laryngitis, or we were getting to see a more realistic version of her teaching during Nia's solo lesson.

She seemed to be instructing, rather than barking orders. That was a funny scene! She was trying to trick them into spilling their guts but the girls didn't fall for it! And I, too, wonder about Abby's voice. Sometimes she sounds like she's lost her voice or experiencing asthma.

I like Holly. I like Dance Moms Mom"knows these people. I finally got around to watching episode 8 the wedding episode , and I have to say, I feel like the drama was VERY engineered. It really did seem like Nia was placed on the top of the pyramid this week so that she would be going head to head with Kendall.

How did Kendall know who was at the top of the pyramid anyways? She was yanked out of the room before she could find out! It also seems that Holly was aware of this, by alluding that she thought that Abby was also to blame in "how this went down". Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the episode, it just seemed more "fake" than the other ones. Ugh this is why I hate watching shows religiously.

Can't wait to see what happens next week that involves an ambulance and a pissed off Melissa! I love seeing Melissa pissed off! And the whole talking about weddings and divorces? I'm so curious! I've watched a few episodes of this now and I'm curious - when did tumbling become such a big part of dance? I'm just used to more just ballet, tap, jazz than a mixture of them. And what about the music?? Is that music just made up for these routines or are they real songs?

I've never heard any of them before. Lots of them are pretty sucky. Ditto on the tumbling. From what I've heard, it's lifetime's music. They apparently have artists that record specifically for the show. They also dub in the crappy music. Many of the girls' numbers are actually performed to different pieces thankfully! Last season there were at least two songs by independent artists. A show like this will probably smoke out a lot of would be kidnappers and pedophiles. But at what cost? How many children will be victimized in the process?

Nothing is more dangerous to a child than putting her on display like this. Any parent should have an intuitive awareness of this. Young girls everwhere are being endangered by this show to the effect that everyone involved should be removed from society. Even JonBenet Ramsey's father now believes that he made a mistake in putting his daughter on display. And I can't say JonBenet was ever exploited and sexualized to the extent the girls on Dance Moms are.

Children are being abused because we tolerate it. Indeed, we stand by and watch. Oh, I wasn't trying to say that they never use outside music : I'll keep looking for the article I read, but they really steamed ahead with the lifetime music this time.

They also definitely perform with regular songs not awkward, lifetime jams to some of this season. From what I read, it really has to do with royalties. I have no experience with royalties, I guess there are different costs for different songs?

Will keep looking for the article! The question of "on display" has many permutations. I come from a part of the country where kids' beauty pageants are a non issue.

The huge majority of these kids in the above are not abused. The parents are present. The moms of Dance Moms are present. While I find beauty pageants banal at best I do not equate them with child endangerment. I don't believe that putting your child of display whether in sports, acting or dancing as you put it equates to an invitation to pedophiles.

As for the demographics and they are available for Dance Moms which is highly rated would bear this out. It seems that Lifetime has taken issue with the last two episodes, especially the ones called "Topless Showgirls". While part of me is extremely curious about what occurred in the episode especially Holly's reaction to the piece , it really did make me question Abby's logic, and whether or not she was exploiting the girls. The girls basically looked naked.

I'm glad that Lifetime pulled it. It's not on the website anymore. Actually, the costumes weren't any tinier than the others they've been wearing. But that horse is way out of the barn! I saw the show. The tops were so covered in jewels that the girls did not look nude at all. Melissa needs to get the sticke out over her engagement.

Threatening to sue her friends because they ask her about it? Oh brother! She needs to grow up and stop getting Abby to run interferance for her. Watching the show, it's very obvious that Abby plays favorites with Maddie.

Come on! Abby favors her star yes she's a talented dancer but I don't believe the other moms are jealous of Maddie. I think they're upset that they pay good money for these lessons and Abby virtually ignores their daughters except to criticize them continuously. Unless you are engaged to a mass murderer, married man or a convicted felon an engagement is something to be shared.

Don't wear a ring if you don't want people wishing you happiness. Did anybody watch Dance Moms: Miami? While the episode was a little boring the first DM epsiode was, too , I think it could be interesting. I like Angel and Victor, their positive critiques are quite a change from Abby. I'm interested to see where this goes!

It was bound to happen to Maddie eventually, but Abby's reaction was completely inappropriate. I felt so awful for the other girls who were reemed out for forgetting their dances, and didn't get an hour of crying. And even though Abby asked for her "paddling" one of the MOST awkward moments of television I've ever seen , she never even took a step towards admitting her bias, or apologising. Also, Cathy- take a step back, reexamine your life.

Stop criticising 12 year olds if you have issues with their mothers. You are entirely embarrassing. I was so happy for Chloe!! If anyone had any doubts about Abby's favoritism towards Maddie, this episode should have cleared up that misconception I felt bad for Chloe because not once did Abby acknowledge her for winning the competition or for getting the scholarship. Abby was obviously concerned only for Maddie and for her reputation. Holly is my hero for calling Abby out. Abby had no defense because she was wrong though she'll probably never admit it.

Also, kudos to Melisa for knocking Maddie down a peg after she threw her tantrum over the scholarship. I recall her saying she thought she should have won because she thought she was the better dancer. Obviously the Joffrey ballet people didn't think so. Did you see poor Chloe's face when they first went back there and Abby started crying? I think Maddie is an amazing dancer, but I'm so happy Chloe ended up with it.

She looks like more of a graceful ballerina. I re-watched the episode and I felt like slapping Abby when the girls came in to console Maddie and she told them to stop and not play that game. What bullshit. They felt genuinely bad for Maddie because they've all been there but Abby never cried for them or consoled them. When did DM Miami start?? Anyone know where I can watch the first episode??

Because it's tv, I have to remember that the events we see may not be in the same order as they actually happened nor the comments correspond with the event they are matched with. So, I was wondering if the Joffrey phone call actually happened after Abby left. It seemed very quick during the episode and would have seemed out of place if they had placed that scene after the drama that went down with Abby leaving. Can't end the episode on the dramatic note then.

Not to mention, there aren't any scenes of a parent, dancer, etc Maddie was stressed the entire episode, so those scenes could have been at any time. Eagle eyed, GCs, did anyone catch a costume clue or time piece that could have given a timeline? Disregarding the timeline, wow, what an episode!

Is anyone else watching? I was disappointed but not surprised that Abby didn't care or explain as to why she ditches the girls after the last competition. I was also irritated that she never gave any kudos to Chloe for winning the Joffrey ballet scholarship. I also dislike her blatant favoritism towards Maddie while constantly putting all the other girls down. Does anyone else think Melissa is the most conniving of all the moms?

She tries to come across as a spineless goodies two shoes but no one buys it. All the other moms see through her. I don't think that Abby is ever going to address that. However, they did not insist that they were always right, nor did they act in such a disrespectful manner to students or parents.

And nope, I can't stand Melissa. Mackenzie is adorable, but I'm really not a fan of acro.
