Some of the larger servers are up already, because they had the users install the old client to be able to play. So, technically, we could go back to playing on it using the old client while we await the hMod update.

That is, if hMod even gets updated again. Looks like it's dead. Might have to make the transition to bukkit User Info: ejzzje. Hmod is not being updated by Hey0, but it has been independently updated and the new version is being called kmod. It's still buggy at the moment but it does work on beta 1. The server will probably be put up with kmod once a more stable version is released with support for the plugins used on the server.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification ej. Who knows when the kmod developer is going to be able to fix the glitch that won't let you place blocks.. Might be awhile. Shade was running it for a bit on his server, blocks can be placed, but not the new ones, and food, buckets, and eggs don't work. I didn't try arrows, and there was a duplication glitch that some smartguy abused. User Info: CheesyPhil. Alright, that makes sense.

I'll just wait until tomorrow then. THE server is not up, it's awaiting a stable hMod or alternative. My server IP posted twice before is up and running as an alternative to THE server while it's down, it's only running vanilla software though.
